I apologize for my absence the last 2 weeks. But rest assured, I am back to bring you the next Nintendo Download, complete with gameplay videos and screen captures. This week, we did not get a huge lineup, but there were some surprises. For the Wii Virtual Console, we get the SNES game Aero the Acrobat. For WiiWare, we get Dive: The Medes Island Secret and Heavy Fire: Special Operations. On the DSiWare side of things, we get Face Pilot: Fly with Your Nintendo DSi Camera, Crystal Monsters, Puffins: Let’s Race!, Petz Hamsterz Family, and Absolute Brickbuster. With Independence Day one day behind us, Nintendo digitally ships 8 games that are all about summer. This week’s list is definitely DSiWare heavy with QuickPick Farmer, Soul of Darkness, SteamWorld Tower Defence, 101 Shark Pets, Hello Flowerz, and the next Flips book: The Folk of the Faraway Tree.  On WiiWare, we get two games. Nintendo has decided to give us a half-year gift with ten downloadable titles.  Three WiiWare games — Jett Rocket, Robin Hood: The Return of Richard, and Pong Toss Pro — are all available on your Wii console.  For the Wii Virtual Console, we get the popular Nintendo64 game Mario Tennis.  On DSiWare, we are graced with six new titles — Maestro! Today, it seems that Nintendo has confused us. On the other hand, one could see Nintendo satisfying all age groups and play styles. Of the 7 new titles today, 4 are classics, 2 seem to be for children, and 1 simply builds off an already established franchise. Today, it is all about the fantasy games for Nintendo.  On the Virtual Console, we get the SNES classic Final Fantasy 2 (which is actually Final Fantasy 4 in Japan and on DS).  For WiiWare, we get the interactive puzzle-platformer Max & the Magic Marker and a top-down shooter called Dracula – Undead Awakening.  The DSiWare lineup increases by four. A card game called Elemental Masters, a Spanish-learning game called 4 Travelers – Play Spanish, a handheld version of Dracula – Undead Awakening, and another Flips book entitled The Bubonic Builders all come to DSiWare today.
